About  ASMEGEO   

The Association of Small Mining Enterprises of Georgia (ASMEGeo) is a non-governmental, non-commercial organization.

It counts 38 members including private enterprises working on the recovery and processing of minerals, geological and planning organizations.

The ASMEGeo was established in July, 2000 with the support of the Eurasia Foundation through the USAID funds.

The goal of the ASMEGeo is to bring efforts of various businesses together to ensure successful adaptation of mining enterprises to the market economy.

The short-term objective of the ASMEGeo is to obtain investments for reconstruction of mines and development of deposits, to facilitate market expansion, provide information to entrepreneurs and establish mutually profitable partnerships with similar foreign organizations.
