February 19 the Mining Institute, Tbilisi
was visited by Dr. Walter Kaffenberger, Director of the Interim
Associate Programme "Science for Peace". |

Dr. Walter Kaffenberger met with the project participants and visited the
underground experimental base. The progress of the project,
the results obtained and the planned activities were discussed
in detail. Dr. Walter Kaffenberger provided useful advice to
the project participants on various issues including on the
adjustment of the project budget and training of young
scientists.
