Visit
on the Problems of Commercialization
of the Scientific Projects and Technologies |

On April 23 the experts of technologies transfer and
commercialization visited our institute:
Dr.Vladislav Likholetov, the Director of Missouri–Columbia
International Technology Commercialization Institute (ITCI)
and Dr. Eugene Krentsel, the Director of Technologies Transfer
and Innovation Partnerships of Binghampton University, NY. |

During the visit they had met the Director and the leading
specialists of Institute, and discussed the scientific
projects and the real situation over commercialization of
technologies and the ways of improving it by preparing
the qualified specialist.
During the meeting the necessity of funding of the position
of Senior Specialist of Commercialization was outlined. In the
case if such a specialist will be prepared by STCU program
“The Chief Specialist of Technology Commercialization”,
the Administration of Institute showed the readiness to
establish such a position and give all needed support to
appointed person to let him/her discharge his/her obligations.
