ITA-AITA WORLD TUNNEL CONGRESS & 34th General Assembly

 

From 19 to 25 of September in Agra (India) was held ITA-AITA WORLD TUNNEL CONGRESS & 34th General Assembly.

Main Theme of Congress was: "Underground Facilities for Better Enviroment & Safety".

Main Discussion Topics:

   1. Planning, Investigation and Design of Tunnel, Cavern & Underground Projects;

   2. Planning, Investigation  and Interpretation of Geological Data;

   3. Engineering Classification and Characterization of Rock mass;

   4. Hidraulic and Structural design of tunnels;

   5. Stabilization and Support System for Tunnelling;

   6. Determination of in-situ Stresses for Underground Excavation;

   7. Instrumentation Monitoring, Back-analysis and modelling Methodologies;

   8. Analysis and Design Methologies including Effect of  Seismicity on the underground Structure.

In the congress work participated Head of Department of G.Tsulukidze Mining Institute, professor Levan Japaridze by presentation:
