During the period of January
22-29, 2011, TMI was hosting to
Dr. Donald Lesuer from Lawrence
Livermore National laboratory (LLNL).
The visit was connected with
current partner project #P446
between the LLNL and TMI where
Georgian team from TMI is
recipient party together with
Andronikashvili Institute of
Physics (AIPH) of MESG. The
project #P446 entitled:
“Fabrication novel
nanostructural Cu-W compositions
with improved electronic
properties” is running under the
STCU’s umbrella and
coordination.
The aim of visit of Dr. Lesuer
was: To meet with project staff,
to evaluate the facilities and
capacities of recipient parties,
to coordinate further activity
of running project, to
participate in joint experiments
and to evaluate potential of
Institutions for another partner
projects.
All tasks of visit were carried
out and there were noted that
the project is running with full
accordance of approved work
plan. There were carried out
some preliminary appointment
concerning of development novel
REP and Industrial projects,
e.g. fabrication Boron
containing compounds based on
SHS and HEC technologies etc.
